Comment: The manner of the layoffs was shocking with many logged out of systems and/or laptops wiped before they were informed of redundancy and some receiving memes as their notification!

Twitter Blue available in UK...or is it?
Twitter Blue is apparently now available for purchase on the ioS app in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK according to this screenshot I took from the App Store.
However, it's not available for me so I can't confirm whether verification is part of the subscription but it appears it isn't! If that's the case, then Twitter is doomed.

It seems it might be the case that the blue tick purchased via Twitter Blue won't come with any verification, which would be a recipe for disaster and the end of the platform - more on this below.
