Meta Is Shutting Down Its Portal & Smartwatch Divisions
Months after announcing it would shift its focus to enterprise users only, Meta is shutting down its Portal line of video-calling devices.
It has also been reported that Meta is pulling the plug on its wearable project, which has two smartwatches in development.

New Facebook Page Featured post panel
I spotted yesterday that Facebook have introduced a new panel at the top of Pages now where you can now 'Feature' or pin posts as well as Events for the first time. There's a new Manage button to add, remove or change the order of 'cards' that have been featured and there doesn't appear to be a limit on how many posts can be in the panel.
Pinning of Highlights coming soon?
Instagram is testing the pinning of Story Highlights again, having first worked on this in 2020.

Existing Twitter verified users will have to pay now?
Elon Musk has stated in a tweet that 'All unpaid legacy Blue checkmarks will be removed in a few months'.
Comment: It's not clear exactly what this means (as usual with Musk's tweets 🤦), but it looks like everyone will now have to pay to be verified.
