Nearly 500 million WhatsApp User Records Sold Online
The 2022 database is said to contain WhatsApp user data from 84 countries with Egypt having the largest chunk of stolen phone numbers.

Facebook: Meta fined €265m by Irish Data Protection Commission
Meta, the company which owns Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, has been fined €265m (£228m) by the Irish Data Protection Commission (DPC).
The fine is over a data breach that saw the personal details of hundreds of millions of Facebook users published online.
Phone numbers and email addresses of up to 533m users appeared on an online hacking forum.

New features
New 'declutter your inbox' feature on LinkedIn
LinkedIn is testing a new messaging feature called Focused Inbox with selected accounts.
The feature uses AI to automatically sort messages into two categories: Focused and Other. It works in the same way as Outlook’s Focused inbox.
Focused Inbox prioritises messages from personal connections, while junk, spam or messages from unknown senders go to the Other folder.
Comment: Great news given that messages from Others can become overwhelming.
