New features
LinkedIn are enhancing their Newsletters π°
Newsletters have become an invaluable part of the knowledge-sharing that our members love about LinkedIn, and helping authors find the right audience for their insights is something weβre always trying to improve. With that in mind, weβre introducing some new ways to make driving subscriptions to a Newsletter even easier: more prominent placement on an authorβs profile, and new shareable subscription-driving links.
Comment: This is welcome but annoyingly it seems some features like Featured newsletters are only available to Profile and not Page newsletters π€¦ββοΈ
No more free access to Twitter's API
Just announced a few hours ago..."Starting February 9, we will no longer support free access to the Twitter API, both v2 and v1.1. A paid basic tier will be available instead".
Comment: This is huge and another terrible idea. If payment not made then anything connected to Twitter...LinkedIn, scheduling tools, measurement tools etc will break. But perhaps we shouldn't worry too much as I can see this being another U turn π
