TikTok launches Sounds for Business 🔊

TikTok is taking a step forward to enhance its Commercial Music Library catalogue for brands by introducing more royalty-free sounds. Dubbed as Sounds for Business, the latest update consists of a blend of music, voice-over, and directional sound cues that can help businesses create sound-on content.

TikTok boasts that the Sounds for Business tracks have ranked in the top 1% of sounds in terms of creations, views, likes, and shares on the Commercial Music Library over the past two months.

All tracks included in Sounds for Business are pre-cleared for commercial use and can be utilized in both organic and paid content. TikTok's move to provide more sound options to brands will undoubtedly help them create more engaging content and connect better with their audience.

New app download link on TikTok profiles ⬇️

TikTok looks to be rolling out an update to its profile that allows businesses to link out to their apps, a feature that was previously available only to select businesses in Asia since late 2020.

The new update, accessible via Edit Profile, enables users to add a link to their app on the Apple App Store or Google Play App Store.

While the feature has already been spotted on Spanish and Canadian brand accounts, it remains unclear whether the expansion is limited to the UK for now.

Comment: Handy! This update will provide businesses with a new way to promote their apps on the platform and increasing app downloads.

The Central Bank of Brazil has authorized the launch of WhatsApp's new payment feature.

Soon, Brazilians will be able to browse products, add them to a cart and make secure payments to small businesses right from a chat with your credit or debit card.

Comment: Expect this to roll out elsewhere in due course.
