Pinterest is testing a new ad option 🆕

Pinterest is testing a new ad option called Premiere Spotlight, which offers prime ad placement on the Search page for 24 hours - or longer, with back-to-back slots.

Kohl's is the first partner to test this new ad solution. Advertisers can create engaging video promotions with a "Visit Site" call-to-action that opens up their website within the Pinterest app.

Currently in beta testing with selected partners, Premiere Spotlight is set to launch more widely later this year.

 

New video editing on Instagram 📺

Instagram is testing a new feature that allows users to trim their Stories video clips before posting.

The feature works in the same way as the video trim feature for Reels and feed posts, allowing users to condense videos into shorter clips.

Currently, Stories' maximum video length is 60 seconds per individual clip. Users can create longer Stories by uploading multiple clips individually.
