Six main recommendations resulting from the 4th Annual LinkedIn Algorithm Research Report by the Creativity and Innovation Network.

Don’t mention more than 15 accounts per post.
Max 10 emoji per post. Not more than 4 per line.
Text between 1200 and 1800 characters.
Answer comment within 12 hours.
Generate engagement within the first 90 minutes.
Don’t change your post during the 10 first minutes after publication.

A moment’s silence, please, for the death of Mark Zuckerberg’s metaverse ⚰️

Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to remember the metaverse, which was quietly laid to rest a few weeks ago by its grieving adoptive parent, one Mark Zuckerberg. Those of you with long memories will remember how, in October 2021, Zuck (as he is known to his friends) excitedly announced the arrival of his new adoptee, to which he had playfully assigned the nickname “The Future”.

Comment: As I wrote in this blog post in January, "I’m more sceptical about the viability of the metaverse, and believe that it if it happens at all, it will take a lot longer than most expect and may ultimately fail to live up to its hype."
