βAIβ Searches Rocket to The Highest Point in History π
The article from Wealth of Geeks discusses the surge in interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI), as evidenced by a significant increase in online searches for the term "AI". In the United States, searches for "AI" grew by 825% in the last 18 months, reaching a new all-time high of 42 million searches in May 2023. This increase in interest is believed to correlate with the launch of AI chatbots like ChatGPT, Bing AI, and Google Bard.
The article also highlights the growing prevalence of AI in various aspects of work and life, from writing assistants to voice commands in cars. However, it also discusses the controversies surrounding AI, including concerns about misinformation, job displacement, and privacy and security risks. Despite these concerns, the article notes that more companies are shifting to AI and developing AI tools, and public interest in AI continues to grow.
