Teens love TikTok a little more than Snapchat

In a recent survey, 33% of teen respondents said TikTok was their favourite social media app, surpassing Snapchat (31%).

Next generation could spend 10 years in metaverse as industry booms

Despite the ‘metaverse’ being a relatively new term, it’s clear a new virtual reality is on the horizon. Meta’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg has stated his goal of achieving one billion users by 2030, and other Silicon Valley giants like Google and Microsoft also continue to invest and innovate in this space.

Instagram is testing new hashtag options in Reels

I've spotted that Instagram is testing Status with green and red dots in the Stories reply composer box.

Topics are coming to Reels

Instagram is working on the ability to add topics to Reels.
