Facebook is changing its algorithm to take on TikTok (already happening on Insta?)
Facebook employees were recently given a new directive with sweeping implications: make the app’s feed more like TikTok.
Facebook’s main feed will, like TikTok, start heavily recommending posts regardless of where they come from. And years after Messenger and Facebook split up as separate apps, the two will be brought back together, mimicking TikTok’s messaging functionality.
TikTok is testing a feature which lets you see who has viewed your videos
TikTok is testing a new feature that allows users to see which of their followers have viewed their videos. On the other hand, people you follow will be able to see that you viewed their posts.
A spokesperson for TikTok told TechCrunch that the new feature is not widely available, which indicates that it’s currently part of a limited test with select users.
New supervision mode on Instagram
Parents can now set a 'supervision mode' which allows Instagram to their children's Instagram to turn off automatically after a set period of use.
Twitter Expands Access to ‘Location Spotlight’ Module in Professional Accounts
Good news for businesses and brands on Twitter – now, all businesses in the US, the UK, Canada, and Australia can add a new ‘Location Spotlight’ module on their business account, which includes location info, business hours, and additional contact methods.
