Instagram has announced the expansion of its digital collectibles test to more than 100 regions in Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and the Americas.
Digital collectibles are Instagram’s NFTs, letting people, creators, businesses and collectors share and display artwork to drive off-platform sales.
Instagram now supports digital collectibles minted on the Flow blockchain, and wallet connections with the Coinbase Wallet and Dapper. Users need to connect their wallets to verify collectibles, but it's free to post and share them.
