Instagram phone calling feature

Instagram audio calling feature for Professional profiles is rolling out to more users. It lets customers call you without revealing your phone number, so you can avoid listing it and revealing it to those pesky spam callers.

 

Regram feature coming soon

Instagram continues to work on the 'Regram' or 'Repost' option for main feed posts. It looks like these will be published in a separate tab/feed.

This will sound the death nell for the many third party reposting apps out there.

 

Event reminders on Twitter - new?

Yesterday I spotted an event reminder feature for the Monaco Grand Prix. I've not seen this before.

Auto-captions for Insta

Announced back in March, videos on Instagram will now have auto-generated captions, where you have the option to turn them off or on.

 

Did you know you can post a vacancy for free on LinkedIn?

LinkedIn is going to add a 'Post a job for free' button to the top navigation bar.

It's been possible to post a vacancy for free, without subscribing to a LinkedIn plan, for some time, but this change will make it more obvious and easier to access.

 

Trusted Contacts are being killed off ☠️😱

Facebook is dropping Trusted Contacts that allow you to nominate friends to get you back into your account.

Therefore, it's all the more important that you have 2 factor authentication setup plus a secondary email address and phone number. Also, ensure that your Business Page has at least 2 Admins. I get calls and emails from people every week who's lost access to their Page...don't let this be you!
